Dr. Shawn Morrison has been at the College of Charleston since 1999. She teaches lower-level French as well as French Civilization and 400-level French courses. Dr. Morrison also works in the School of Education, teaching the methods course for students planning to become foreign language teachers in French, German, Latin, or Spanish. She supervises the foreign language interns.
She teaches the Advanced Methods course in the program for the Master’s in Education in Languages. She has served as President of the South Carolina Foreign Language Teachers Association. Dr. Morrison has been the Associate Dean of the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs since 2008.
